Doctor: Token Board

Postby Legrandchef » Sun Oct 24, 2004 2:36 pm

I am becoming a little fed up with the level cap grind and still another 13 levels to go! Do any of the other docs or anyone else think this might be a good time to do some missions for tokens? I have almost none atm and wonder if anyone thinks it would be worth it. Should I start doing some team missions now or later? Should I bother with board at all?

Right after 1750 one ;)
Just think of that 7% xp bonus if nothing else

If you can't stand grinding 1000 tokens, at least get the 400 board, gives 6% bonus and you can get the Experimental Cyborg Board at TL6 to give you the +200 CL bonus instead of the 1000 tokens.

But really, yeah I agree, the 1K board is still the single best item in game and _everyone_ can get one solo if required :D

Definitely do tokens before level 200... the earlier the better it seems, since the mission sizes only increase the higher level you go... and after 200 you dont get tokens so only way then is with the token guns quest.

the best time for tokens is from 100 to 140 ...

When I now do a "easy" mission with Ulna (205) I do get 9 token - but the mission has like 350 rooms and 450 mobs (that's how it feels). So even if it's a mission with only green mobs, fast killing etc. - it takes me almost an hour to complete it. 9 token / hour, no xp. :(

When I was working on the 1k-board (between 110 and 130) I used to run 3 "easy" missions in an hour and got 6 - 7 token per mission. 18 - 21 token / hour and some xp. :D

Oh and - you do get token after 200, but not for team-missions. Only single missions.

I stand corrected, must admit I never tried a mission after 200 for a token, was simply going on what others had told me... still, as Ulna says, much better to do it sub-200 ;)

Hey There,
Tokenboards are imho very powerfull items and everything should be done to get them, even get a higher char to farm the tokenguns if you have to. As a doc it dont make sence to do half a million missions since they kill kinda slow it would take ages, i would just farm the guns with a pet prof.

Any hints on good missions for a Doc? Ain't the best mob slayer around sorta...

Only option is to beef up with a gun especially for Tokens under the period you are doing Token missions?
