Soldier: Ranged Init for Perennium Blaster?

Since the blaster has an attack and recharge time of 1 second each, is there any use putting points into Ranged Initiative?

I would say yes, as the higher your ranged init the more u can more ur agg/def bar towards full def.

Raise ur evades and u won't be hit very often (if u are it is usually just when ur perks and TMS run out )
