Signature blocks

Postby Sidarion » Fri May 14, 2004 5:27 am

Heyas peeps,

as some of you might have noticed, I have finally gotten around to delve into Photoshop. Frankly, it's been installed on my harddisk for over 6 months (and its a registered copy, even) and I always shied away from it when the results were not as I hoped.

Anyway, I am sifting through countless tutorials at the moment and slowly start getting the hang of it.

I would need some more study objects to work on. Knowing myself, I am far too lazy to just sit down and doodle on something, I need a specific project for me to get my arse up and do it.

If anyone needs a signature block or an avatar done, I would be more than happy to take over that task. I cannot promise good results as I am really still learning (I haven't figured out how masks work and all the filter specs). Just pm me if you want to be my guineapig. :D

Sid

(I revamped my old siggy block yesterday... you see the result down below)

I use Photoshop on a daily basis at work here, and also got it installed at home. If you wonder about something, dont hesitate to ask. Photoshop is a wonderful program once you learn how to use all the filters and settings. Good luck learning it mate :D

Photoshop is like a big, nastry dragon that eats humans and burns entire villages before lunch, but once you have bested the beast, you will be MASTAH! :)

I'll try to think of a concept for a project, oh yes... ;)

Hey!

Chef wanted to have a siggy block... but I haven't received any screenies from him. Well, I had to improvise.

Ok... before you start flaming me... for the love of God, I KNOW that this is a Swedish Chef. I simply couldn't find a Norwegian Chef....

edit: ...and it is neigh impossible to find a British Chef either... *shudder*

C'mon... at least he is Scandinavian.... rofl

Oh... din't know that...

Well... judging from the food they serve in the UK, I think Chefs must be in HUUUGE demand...

...maybe we can agree on making him an honorary Scandinavian Chef???

All this is all very well but I called myself Legrandchef as a translation of the English: the big boss, not as someone who worked in a kitchen.
The Swedish chef is very funny of course but not what I intended by my name.

I will give Sid some more suggestions when I email him.
