Tier 1 Armor hunt

Hello all,

I have been trying to get the parts for the Tier 1 armor for a couple of weeks now. Sadly, so far to no avail.

I would like to organize a team to go into the temple in Scheol to hunt for Embryos/Visions in the archaic dungeon.

The mobs hit quite hard, but I have heard that after the first wave of social aggro is passed, you can actually pull single mobs and do away with them. Drop rate reputedly is decent for visions and not all that bad for embryos.

I can usually be online after 23:00 GMT weekdays, an 14:00 GMT on weekends. We should have at least a team of 150+ in order to have any chance of survival. A Doc is a must. Maybe some of the higher level members in this guild could come and help? Please post wether and when you would want to participate.

Another way to get Tier 1 parts if you can't gather a team, is to kill the sub-bosses and main boss (if you're up to it) in the Elysium archaic dungeons. Forget about respawn, they just don't.

Method:
1. get map from dungeon guide on aovault.ign.com

2. blitz to the end of the dungeon, and stop in the empty hallway just before the room with the teleport.

3. Calm/kill mobs that might have followed you there, shouldnt be more than 1.

4. Work your way back E and kill the 2 sub-bosses.

5. Head back to the main room and kill the Emissary sub-boss on your side of the bridge.

6. if you feel up to it, kill the main boss on bridge too, but it should be hard uness you are quite uber ;)

That's 3 sub-bosses many professions can kill quite easily from TL4/5. Droprate isn't good, maybe around 30%, but this doesnt take long and you can do it whenever you can't get a proper team going. Forget about respawn of bosses, it's too slow to bother staying there (if ever). Just exit and return another day, or try getting another GS or heading to next temple. There are 2 of these archaic dungeons in each redeemed/unredeemed temple.

Good guide, and good tips :D! I see only one problem....as usual one assumes that people are able to blitz :).....hihihi....this is one thing Im not likely to be able to do with many of my chars, as ip is too tight to spend on maxing runspeed at 100+ lvls.
But for those about to blitz....this is definitely THE way to do it, good post m8!

IP is always scarce, but if you implant some runspeed (wrists) and have 1k token board, reaching 800 or so shouldn't be too hard :) Wolf morph adds some too I believe, not sure whether or not it works in SL.

Oh, and full DEF is a definate must ;) Also grab evade buff from MA, Trader or NT, maybe even implant add all def. and put on some rings of luck etc.... everything helps.

Ofdarkness has dark blue evades as well as runspeed, so I suppose many profs will have an easier time raising those.
