They drop from Crippler (or was it Croaker) of light -type mobs.
Looks like big ugly birds.

NE in lower scheol (east of the halls of scheol exit) there are some bosses who I've seen dropping this helmet a couple times. Only low levels of it though (q120ish) :/

Reported to drop 120-160 from that spot - higher lvls might drop from similar bosses in other playfields but can't find any reports that says where.....

Does that award me 1 cred?

Yep I picked one up myself a long time ago while hunting patterns with Auro in Scheol. Was only low Q but I picked it up to see if I could wear under f/p.... no joy however

I got 2 of these when i did some dynas in Scheol, so shouldnt be hard to find.
