ARGH!! Jag vet inte! Jag talar bara lite svenska. What I've got so far is:

Situation good, but hell I continuously certainly at snigeltuta (can't find this word anywhere) now and this cost a packet! Dough dry up cruel fat now...

You're pretty mean, as I'm sure all of this is slang words and phrases which can't be translated easily :wink:

LOL! I might have been a tiny bit cruel there, but I dont want you to get too cocky :smile:

Snigeltuta=analouge modem (like "damn slow analouge modem)
Did you understand what you translated or did you just go word by word?
If I would say this in english it would be roughly like:
"Things are good, but damn I run on this damn slow modem now and it's damn expensive! Cash drains damn fast now..."

Ok, I'll try an easier one :smile:

To be honest, I don't actually know ANY swedish.. I found an online dictionary and though I'd translate a few words from English. Just a bit of fun :grin:

But as I've been struggling through these challenges, I'm actually finding the language quite fun.

What I've been doing is just word-for-word conversion, but the site I use also has 'example phrases' which helps put certain words together. I mean, "cost a packet" didn't make any sense word for word...

I will attempt this new translation when I get home tonight... looks interesting... "telefonsex"!?!

Telefonsex... Yes, well.. um I guess you dont need a dictionary to translate that..

Hmmmmm... I think I understand your message, but it is not suitable for this PG-13 forum :wink:

"Cost a packet" just means "expensive" or "costs a lot". We have the term "pay packet" which refers to one's wages, so it may have something to do with that.

Norwegian, Swedish and Danish are all very similar languages that I can read without any problems. Only a few words here and there that might give me some problems.

I guess Felicity has it the same way.
