G-Mail

If you have somehow missed out on this huge news going along the Net ATM. Google.com is opening up an e-mail service. An email service that has 1 gig of storage space. AKA, 10x the space of yahoo mail.

http://www.gmail.com i think is the site.

Its currently in closed beta. The only way to get in is to do one of two things:

Sign up for the newsletter and pray they open up more slots (unlikely)

or

Get someone whos in the beta to send you an invite. (once, of course, they get their invites)


And because I like to brag....guess whos in the beta.

No thanks, my mail works perfectly fine.. what you gona use 1gb of webspace for? pr0n pics? :roll:

I know a couple of people in this and Google have been giving them more invitations to send out than they have friends who want an invite.

If you're after a web-based email this will probably be a good option.

this post is a lil old, but i wanna put my 2 cents in ;)

a-hem, 1gb of email spaec sounds nice, but I heard that in GMAIL they don't let you delete anything, just put it into a trashcan... to me.. dat sounds scary :P, keke, or am i a lil paranoid? :P, nah

gmail lets you delete things. there was talk about not NEEDING to delete things, since you have lots of space to keep old email, thats all.

I have a gmail account, not using it for much yet but its nice.
