Crat calm nerf - not a good thing

For info when teaming with your crat pals... please don't refer to the crat calm nerf as a good thing (e.g. no more stacking for you) or they may kill you... It's more than just stacking that's changed.

This nerf has always been unasked for and mostly unwanted by crats of all levels - Cz has even admitted that they've nerfed it much more than it was supposed to be -
Had a chat with the monster designer, and apparently the "immunity" flag got attached to a lot more monsters than it was supposed to. So it's not intentional, but don't expect it to be reason for an emergency patch. My current impression is that it'll most likely be in the next regular patch.

Next patch? Thats a long time with massively reduced skills. Many good threads on the crat forum if you have any interest.

I am not to sure about this, as I don't think its "just" a bad thing they changed this.

One can read about nerfs to the end of time, but sometimes I feel that people just want everything easy, and if there is a simpler way of doing things people use it and shut up about a bug. For example, the crat charms that never runs out in SL, eventhough they are supposed to last about 5 min...I know when they finally fix this people will scream too...

Was stacking intended or is it a borked game mechanic from the beginning? Is it the way to play?

Ofcourse I am bias too, but one wonders...

Stacking was a player devised strategy and unforseen but they destroed a whole lot more then just stacking

I've never stacked nor do I want too (I am faaar too wussy;p) but as Zyn says - this is about much more than stacking. It really is worth looking at how eloquently it's been written up by the crat board rather than my random ramble that probably made it sound like XP stacking whinges.
