Seriously...many of yall were my alternate family for the longest time.

Soo...Ill catch up with yall.

Few weeks ago the population of my city seemed to grow by several thousand people.....Ive not the fondest clue why. :-''

And it seems these wonderful few thousand came here at a wonderful time...as weve got a possible major Hurricane bearing down on us (You lucky Vikings and your lack of said storm).

Apart from that, Im still hanging around in Planetside...while dabbling in lil EQ2 and Battlefield 2.

Yall? How many actually still play AO? Ive been considering starting fresh (Again) if Lost Eden proves good.

Heya Volais :)

Quite a few still hanging around here....actually we got quite a few come backs lately. Don't get your hopes too high on LE, you know PvP . No major change there so far. Good news is that FC seems to postpone release date becouse of bugs...that's a first.

16.0 first :) much delayed due to "unforseen" findings...hehe :)

AI of SL mobs will be updated with patch once it goes live, which will be an extra challenge in SL...but still issues with it.

What do you mean by "AI of SL mobs " and "extra challenge in SL"? Does that mean mobs won't agro from half a zone away, hit you before you can see them and warp back to their place when they loose agro?

I'm geting really tired of FC implementing new "challenges" instead of balancing game.

no this isn't new really, it is something that was intended when SL went live, but couldn't be implemented. Due to new coding it could go live now. I am still not sure if it will be included tomorrow (if the patch is still on for tomorrow) but if so it will be improvements to SL.

I went with AIL to the FC offices a couple of weeks ago and LE will be more than 'just' PvP.

* You'll have no new lvls added to the 220 lvls already ingame
* You'll be able to earn experience even if you're 220, (this will not be a new experience bar) this xp can be set to either yourself or your faction or both. The xp will be used to research new technology. For instance when the xp pooled for your faction reaches a certain point, new technology will be available for the people of that faction. Your own research will unlock equipment/skills.
* The mechs will not have requirements for equipping, so everyone will be able to use them without having to increase any skills
* You'll not be in the mechs all the time, it's an addition to the other forms you can be in
* You'll be able to solo aliens, and it's likely there'll be more content for soloing
* Will probably be released in the beginning of next year

as an aside

* Galactic gems (for Arul Saba bracelets) are not ingame, and will probably never make it as they're deemed too powerful.

After having heard some of the visions in regards to LE I went from pretty negative to pretty positive about the expansion. It's still quite a way off though.

I'm quite sure there were a couple of more points regarding LE that was mentioned, but can really remember what after all those beers I consumed later in the evening :)

Another point to mention was that KarmaCappa (FC item/nano designer) said that he was going to look into more of breed balancing after I asked him who the heck came up with the nanomage 'advantage' - more nano ffs...

Hiya Volais :)

Why haven't you come back to AO yet? :p Forget all those other games! EQ 2 sucked anyway, I hated it ;)

Holy smokin banana! If this is actually happening, it may just be enough to lure me back to AO!

Hope you all are well, btw! :D
