A great site to check out, is the Anarchy Mainframe! An invaluable database, that even has a Damage Calculator, in which you can enter your weaps stats, as well as your own pertinent skills. Tell it to calculate, and you will be given calculated damage output for any given period of time.

Hmm, that damage calculator is quite interesting! I have never tried one before, but will have to have a closer look when I get home. It would be a good way of seeing how various skills affect damage output, eg. initiatives and target AC.
