Apperantly some AO players have recieved spoof emails about their accounts. Mails state that unles info is updated, you won't be able to play after 48h. Of course it includes fake link to registry page.

IF you recieved any email from Funcom, in which they are asking you for any info, delete it.

If you have already followed link and updated info on spoof page, I would recomend to go to real FC registry page asap and change password ( you can get link to real page from official forums).

Also be careful when people offer download links in chat. I'm pretty sure I was offered some kind of trojan link some time ago in chat that was named as a clicksaver.exe. This guy wanted me to "verify" if it works.

Remember that even if you have antivirus software, firewall, etc.. It still doesn't necessarily keep you safe! There have been a lot of account thefts lately and many of those people claim that they haven't given their account info to anyone.

So... be careful! :)
