AO not working PLS HELP

why is anarchy online not working. it says i need a patch but the patcher wont work. I tried the main site but there is not a new patch listed. I tried reinstalling but its still not working. What do i do?

hmmm, if you are running vista, maybe try running AO as administrator and the patcher might work, other than that i have no clue, will need more info

I would have tryed to reinstall AO and then patch "all the way". It takes less time then e-mail AO support that just tells you to reinstall.

Just make sure to save your prefs map so you dont have to redo all your settings on your chars...

i tried reinstalling i tried manual patching i dont know what the deal is. The only reason i can play is because of a lil trick i learned but i dont know how long that will last

if you're still having problems try this:

properties -> Compability -> Run this program in compability mode for: - Windows XP(service pack 2)

dont know if this will work, but it has helped me with issues on some other programs

Have you got a new firewall lately? Are you sure you dont have 2 firewalls running on the same time? Maybe windows firewall and another one?

And are you sure it is not blocking the access for AO? Try to turn off the firewall for a short time. And then start AO.

shooto isn't in cerb anymore, so i am not sure if he will read this post
