More computer problems

Having just had my computer fixed because the fan in the PSU had stopped working and it was frying, I had a few days of normal functioning.
But, first thing this morning, I get this message:
The user profile service failed the logon
User profile cannot be loaded.
Any ideas?

I presume your talking about your windows user profile, and what OS are you using ?

I assume it is my windows profile. I am using vista 64bit. I get the above response after I have entered my password.

I appear to have solved the problem. I started the computer in safe mode and used system restore to go back to the day before the problem. Most stuff now appears to work normally and I can log on. It's late now so I'm not bothering to try everything out but if all goes well, I'll be back playing Anarchy at the weekend.
