First off, I didnt do this site. Flameforge did. How he did it, I have no clue :p
Personally I use dreamweaver and primalscript when I do things. I bought the .net adress back in -94 to use for my family mail, I don't know if its cheaper than .com adresses. I only host this site and fix the database, forums etc.

Well the site is written in the PHP scripting language, so every time you visit a page the server is dynamically creating it and sending the HTML output. When the homepage is generated, it randomly selects a portrait from a list and inserts that into the page.
I hand-code all my stuff in a text editor; my current favourite being Metapad.
As far as I know, .net .com and .org are all the same price.

Hmm..I see. Damn, if only PHP wasnt so hard to use.
My Old debate teacher asked me if I could set up a site for the debate team (Of which im still part of...sorta).
