Making Alien Armor and Combined Alien Armor

The contents of this guide is compiled from Herodotus2's AI site and what I've gathered ingame, to make a more comprehensive and complete guide.


Tools needed:
- Kyr'Ozch Atomic Re-Structuralizing Tool (regular alien drop)
- Kyr'Ozch Structural Analyzer (combine a Re-Structuralizing Tool with a Field Quantum Physics All-Purpose Tool to create)
- Nano Programming Interface (sold in Basic Tools vendors)

Components needed:
1 x Kyr'Ozch Viralbots
1 x Pristine Kyr'Ozch Bio-Material (can be Mutated, but req. higher tradeskills)
1 x Lead Viralbots (see table below for for which type you need)
1 x Basic clothing piece (Obtained by questing for Master Divenchy, see guide by Trgeorge)
1 x Uncle Bazzit's Generic Nano-Solvent (Purchased in Uncle Bazzit's workshop in Meetmedere)
1 x Essential Human DNA (Purchased in Uncle Bazzit's workshop in Meetmedere)

Notes:
- The QL of the Bio-Material decides the final QL of your armor.
- You can use Mutated Bio-Material in stead of Pristine, but the tradeskill requirements will be alot higher (Chemistry)


First, decide which type of alien armor you want to make:

This sounds fairly obvious, but when you are making the advanced Combined Armors it's crucial to have your components right as they can cost a LOT of money/time/raid points. The below table shows the stat bonuses of the various types, and how they can be combined.

The "target" item decides final QL of the Combined armor piece! The QL of the "source" part must be minimum 80% of the target QL (i.e. source must be ql 240 or higher if you want to make ql 300 combined armour).

Source + Target = Result
Strong Body Armor + Supple Body Armor = Combined Commando's Jacket
Strong Body Armor + Enduring Body Armor = Combined Mercenary's Jacket
Observant Body Armor + Supple Body Armor = Combined Sharpshooter's Jacket
Observant Body Armor + Arithmetic Body Armor = Combined Scout's Jacket
Spiritual Body Armor + Arithmetic Body Armor = Combined Officer's Jacket
Spiritual Body Armor + Enduring Body Armor = Combined Paramedic's Jacket


Obtain the components:

Kyr'Ozch Viralbots
These are semi-rare alien boss drops, and as such can be found on alien Generals and Admirals, and also on some of their APF boss versions.

Pristine Kyr'Ozch Bio-Material
These have to be extracted from Solid Clumps of Kyr'Ozch Bio-Material which are common drops from all sorts of alien mobs, and are therefore relatively cheap to buy. The QL of the Bio-Material determines the final QL of your armor piece.

Kyr'Ozch Structural Analyzer + Solid Clump of Kyr'Ozch Biomaterial = Pristine Kyr'Ozch Bio-Material
(Requires 4,5 x QL in Chemistry if Pristine, 7x if Mutated)

Lead Viralbots
These can drop in several types from alien Generals and Admirals: Arithmetic, Enduring, Observant, Spiritual, Strong, and Supple.
You need to get the correct type for your particular armor piece, see above table for stats and the resulting Combined armor piece.

The extreme rarity of Lead Viralbots means you will need to either spend alot of time doing city alien raids, APF raids or farm credits to purchase from another player. Be aware that the most popular viralbots will easily cost hundreds of millions of credits.

This table shows the which generals/admirals drop which type of Lead Virlbots:
Arithmetic: Ankari'Khaz/Khazooh
Enduring: Xoch'Khaz/Khazooh
Observant: Rimah'Khaz/Khazooh
Spiritual: Ilari'Khaz/Khazooh
Strong: Jaax'Khaz/Khazooh
Supple: Cha'Khaz/Khazooh



The construction process:

1. Kyr'Ozch Atomic Re-Structuralizing Tool + Kyr'Ozch Viralbots = Memory Wiped Kyr'Ozch Atomic Viralbots
(Requires 4,5 x QL of Viralbots in Computer Literacy and Nano Programming)

Image + Image = Image

2. Nano Programming Interface + Memory-Wiped Kyr'Ozch Atomic Viralbots = Formatted Kyr'Ozch Viralbots
(Requires 6 x QL in Nano Programming)

Image + Image = Image

3. Uncle Bazzit's Generic Nano-Solvent + Pristine Kyr'Ozch Bio-Material = Generic Kyr'Ozch DNA Soup
(Requies 4,5 x QL in Chemistry)

Image + Image = Image

4. Essential Human DNA + Generic Kyr'Ozch DNA Soup = DNA Cocktail
(Requires 6 x QL in Pharma-Tech)

Image + Image = Image

5. Formatted Kyr'Ozch Viralbots + DNA Cocktail = Kyr'Ozch Formatted Viralbot Solution
(Requires 6 x QL in Pharma-Tech)

Image + Image = Image

6. Basic clothing piece + Kyr'Ozch Formatted Viralbot Solution = Formatted Viralbot clothing
(Requires 4,5 x QL in Chemistry)

Image + Image = Image

7. Lead Viralbots + Formatted Viralbot clothing = Your finished Alien armor piece! :D
(Requires 6 x QL in Psychology)

Image + Image = Image


To make Combined Armor
8. Observant Body Armor + Arithmetic Body Armor = Combined Scout's Jacket
(Requires 6 x QL of Target in Psychology)

Image + Image = Image


Notes:
The minimum QL requirements for making a piece of Combined armor are (using QL 300 Combined armor as example):
- Source armor piece (Pristine/Mutated Bio-Material) must be QL 240+ (80% of QL 300)
- Target armor piece (Pristine/Mutated Bio-Material) must be QL 300
- Lead Viralbots for Source armor piece must be QL 192+ (80% of QL 240)
- Lead Viralbots for Target armor piece must be ql 240+ (80% of QL 300)
- You will need two full sets of Basic clothing to make one full set of Combined armor.

Final Word: While Combined armor is certainly great stat-wise, it's in no way mandatory... and you will NOT necessarily be gimped without. Combined armor is mostly interesting if you want to have top stats for DD, PvP or just look uber :P So don't feel bad if you can't afford the time/money to get this right now, as there are many other great options and combinations (Dust Brigade armour, OFAB, Tier 3, Azure, Merlin and Bellum for instance). Will try to check next time I'm building one. But kinda hard to be sure, becouse you only get msg for skills that are too low

Nice, Bot. My eyes usually glaze over in regards to all the alien items but I've read through this info now so I think I'm going to start snapping bits up. 8)
