He didnt know anymore..the apartment a mess of empty bottles and half-smoked cigars...Cogs lay sprawling on the floor....debating whether to swat that strange black winged creature buzzing around his head or just let it keep weaving its intricate patterns.....god knows there were other things on his mind....or was there....was it all just a dream...a dive into sublime nothingness...faces kept popping up on the walls and in front of him...voices...voices so dear to him and yet so far and strange...and that strange hissing sound.....psssssssssst-pop-psssssssssst-pop....he tried to turn..and the image of a large white metallic creature filled his field of vision....it scared him...but yet it seemed strangely familiar....he couldnt move anyway...Cogs shut down his visual sensors....or at least tried to....but the images kept ripping into his soul....he heard another sound now....a scream...silent and loud.....he felt lungs collapse under the strain....and darkness enveloped him....
