I know we crats isnt suppose to solo, but hey,.. Even a lvl 2 rollerrat could kick my behind.

Do you use trimmers to make your bot perform better?

There are basicly three different types of trimmers you can use at once.

- Agg-Def trimmer (max ql100)

I recommend using Positive version of this. Makes your bot do more damage and you need to use it every time you zone. Found in shops.

- Increase Aggressiveness (max ql200)

Makes your bot taunt more and possibly keeps the mob away from you. This trimmer has to be made.

- Divert energy to XXX (max ql200)

I would recommend using divert energy to offense which makes bot do more damage. However at least the description says it lowers the AC of your bot. Not sure about it though... This trimmer is found in shops and it has to be used every 5 minutes to keep the benefits.

All those trimmers require some amount of tradeskills to use. Mainly mechanical engineering and quantum FT so if you don't have much IP to spend on them, even a lower ql trimmer will help some. At least on engi bots the damage increase is quite nice.

Of course if you team with an engineer, you can always ask him to trim your bots as he propably has maxed those skills and can use the highest trimmers available to him..
