So I bought a PS2, crossing to the Dark Side known as Console Gaming, and embarked on the Time Abyss titled Final Fantasy X. (Am finally playing a FF properly... other one I did was FF3 using an emulator.)

So probably won't be on AO much. PM me or something if I'm needed...

Heroin does not have the same addiction factor as FF...

That game is the reason for 2 consoles in our house - because we fight over who gets to play the latest installment first (me, ME damnit!)

Just don't try the MMO... weak

I think my local coffee shop is happy I'm playing.

The game is really good fun although it feels like more than half of the time I am just watching conversation cutscenes. (Can't believe they've not added the ability to skip those scenes.) Starting to level up a bit and feeling more uber hehe.

I'll take a break and be on AO during the weekend. I swear...

FuryD, I was reading some FAQs on all the stuff that can be unlocked through side quests... aeons and weapons and stuff. Did you do any of that? There was something about uncapping Wakka so he can do a 12-hit combo of 99,999 dmg per hit so that it's possible to defeat one of the toughest arena bosses...

FFX is known for having a TON of side stuff u can do. Stuff that can be both tedious and take up lots of time.

Possibly even keep you entertained!

Cripes... some 55 hours play time now and only just getting to the final bosses! Sin has crash-landed so am power leveling my crew to unlock a couple of the last spells.

But I also moved to a friend's house to house-sit, which is why I've not really been around...

pick up a Gamecube and play Skies of Arcadia......it kicks your FF's ass.

yep wakkas uber damage is awesome - I admit to being one of those sad geeks who unlocks all the secrets & has the uber swords

(FF 7 - that gold chocobo - mmmmmmm)

It's so much fun, I'll play it once quickly then a 2nd time unlocking, usually...
