Well, maybe not SWG, but damn!

Haven to discuss other worlds than that of Rubi-Ka & Hyboria.

As will a few other people, I think. But from what I've heard, there's a bit of a wait -- due middle of 2004?

I have always been more towards fantasy than science fiction when it came to RP games. So I reckon my next will be a fantasy one, not sure which one yet. But from what I hear AD&D is also coming as a MMORPG soon

I used to prefer Fantasy over SF.. but now I seem to have had my share of Goblins and Ogres and definitely prefer the SF theme.

(although AO is pretty thin on SF really :))

That said... I don't have the time or energy to put into another MMORPG so I am probably AO or bust.

P.S. WTB: Might and Magic XX ;)

Hmm.. well... thinking about it...

if they ever made a MMORPG based on one of the following:

Wheel of Time
Peter F Hamilton's Reality Dysfunction
Morgan's Altered Carbon
Alistair Reynold's Revelation Space
Raymond Feist's Midkemia

...then I might be interested. ;)

Rahmo.

P.S. Up until now I thought nothing would have been better than a Star Wars MMORPG so I am probably kidding myself :)

Well, as I've told people before, I'm telling you guys... Rubi-Ka was my first and Rubi-Ka will be my last. When I started in Tir BY1 two years ago, I truly had no idea what would be in store for me or my character and it has been the most fantastic adventure I have ever had coupled with meeting the best people in the world. I will never go through starting over, meeting new people and the more hurtful part of losing those friends I gain along the way. I purchased a computer game back then with the hope of playing and instead, it became an urge to get to know people, spend time with them in an environment where true basic, greedy human nature doesnt exist.

So, when Funcom walk into that room and finally flick those servers off and turn out the lights, the guy behind Jpegg goes back to real life.

hehe, its a funny old world all this :)

Horizon are what I have an eye for atm, but time will show, and noone really knows what the future holds for any of us, so we just have to wait and see.
