I watched the Chronicle1-05 movie though -- wow that has some cool looking stuff in it. The game really has a nice style from what I can see on the site.

L2 is a nice looking game. it's fun (even though i only made it to lvl 12). PK PK PK PK is a nice little option in it.

With L2, is this PVP stuff optional? I hope so. I think I was reading though that if you're "neutral" you can still get smacked but the attacker just gets a penalty??

u can PK anywhere. if someone attacks you and kills you they turn red and get negative karma (this means that they have a better chance of dropping items).

it was pretty bad last week cuz it was the end of closed beta. it won't be as bad in open beta though

u can PK anywhere. if someone attacks you and kills you they turn red and get negative karma (this means that they have a better chance of dropping items).

If you attack a white named player, your name turns purple, to signify your pvp status in a way -- it stays purple for like a minute or so, if the white named player fights back, theirs turn purple as well. Now if the attacked player doesn't fight back, and dies, then the second player's name turns red and then all kinds of bad things start happening to them, such as KOS with city guards and shopkeepers refusing to trade with them for one. It's also impossible to determine someone's level as well -- so if you're like Addice and eyeing Schu to see if he'd be an easy kill, you have only the shown equipment to evaluate; also there are no level restrictions -- i.e. a level 20 can attack and kill a level 2 newbie.

actually i am an Elf and Schuy is a fatass dwarf. the server has been down for most of the evening and early morning in NA but i have played for a few hours and the clicking things isn't as bad as it was yesterday.

i am in Seighart w/ the rest of my old guildies (most of them anyway). if you are around message me and matbe we can meet up and PK Schuy for shits and giggles LOL.
