I know nothing about Everquest, but AO seems to be going in that direction: expansions + boosters. In our games shop here, the Everquest packs are huge... they sell the original and then like 4 upgrade packs as well. And they're not cheap...

Expansion packs are normal and I understand why they are there. I will buy the booster pack on day 1 for sure

You will be abel so see all the stuff, but you won't be abel to control or build the towers, geting the bether gfx and sound and yo won't get teh other small stuff.
