Problem with web sites

Postby trgeorge » Sun Mar 20, 2005 1:16 pm

I'm currently unable to surf web sites from my home (2nd day today). And at same time can play AO, so it's not connection problem.

Tried with IE and Opera and neither works, so it's not browser problem either. It shouldn't be applied to cookies, since I tried atyping in adress and not using favorites or some other shortcut.

I'm using Win XP and Panda titanium. Hadn't played with any of setings lately. Panda is set to minimum security, periodicly scaning HD and all incoming stuff.

So any help fixing situation would be appreciated (gonna take till wednesday till I work again, so I'll probably won't be able to see any suggestions till then).

Did you check with your ISP if there are any current known problems? Often ISPs run invisible proxies which may be causing problems (something they have to fix).

Try using Ad-Aware to see if something nasty has got hold of your PC?

Kinda sorted...reinstiled Panda and now everything works. Funny thing is I still don't know what went wrong.
