Skill Proc

But yeah, mind tuning down monsters a bit? They tend to kill me even before fight stats....

It seems to me that stats are all important here. Having high amount of endurance and power seem to be the way to go when being a pure fighter.

at lvl2, I used up my dagger with 100 in durability before I had to flee from a fight. Think I hit once in 100 attempts.

HP is also extremly important. getting blasted for 20-35 points of damage against lvl2 mobs

Also getting very low amount of spirutal points when defeating a mob, making buying of attribute points extremly hard. So need to get a good roll before creating a toon the way things are atm.

My guess is that Flame is wamping this small RPG as he goes along, and any feedback from us I am sure is important. :)

Edit: HP editet. It isnt endurance based at all :P

I am just mining atm, getting a good return, around 1 in 4 with 5 skill, so can just use around 4 or 5 pickaxes to level naturally there. Getting sucky rates on improving items tho so don't bother. It takes around the same number of uses of the pickaxes to potentially level an item as it does to find another, so not bothering there :)

Fighting is a nightmare atm, all the mobs have gotten a lot harder since yesterday and they are casting spells now which hit for around 50% of my health which is tough to beat, especially when I rarely hit them with anything. Perhaps we can get an insult spell that hits for at least 1 each time it is used :)

Improving the stones realy pays off. I recomend raising stonecutting fairly quick, and start improving them rocks. Earned me much more than simply selling what I mine. Got 12 in stonecutting now, and they are improving about 1/3 ratio, and increasing by 7 each time it improves.

Nice increase, I want to get my mining to around level 10, so hopefully 1 in 2 or better return then I will raise my stone cutting to match it

I wouldnt spend any credits on learning mining skill, to increase the chance of finding stones. There are other places one can get them....

There is obviously some serious balancing issues to sort out...

The monsters are all from an "expansion pack" as it were (because the original ADR game only comes with about 8 boring monsters). So it looks like those monsters were probably balanced against someone else's races/classes.

There are some other important things to fix too (thanks for the PMs). I've been staying at my mum's recently and won't really get a chance to have a good look at things until later today (like in 10 hours time or so).

I should also mention that I had dropped the cost of skill training significantly. Originally it was probably 5 times more expensive or so. I may need to bump that up!!

Also, I switched stat training to use Spirit Points (since there was nothing to spend SP on before) instead of Points. However I can see that the cost is rather high (!!) and it's really more important to train those to be competitive against the tough monsters.

I like that SP can't be farmed, as such - only achieved through battle, so it makes more sense to spend it on stats. Just need to balance it, of course.

Lots of balancing :P

Hi guys,
is there a way to see what percentage of a skill I have trained without actually buying a skill increase? I can't seem to find any other way.

Thanks :)
