Mercury Dragons Clan back in action!

Our clan was founded in 29475, and was active for 2 years. 4 months ago it was disbanded, to learn the background story for the disbandment read Unicorn's Shadows. We've recently reformed, and as of today we're officially recruiting again.

We're a Military Organization. Our objective is the training of members, providing security, surveillance, intelligence gathering and information to strengthen the clans against the known threats against them (Omni-Tek, Cyborgs, DB,etc).

Membership
The Mercury Dragons Clan offer membership within its ranks to all who would want to join and would follow our principles and abide by our rules and regulations. To apply for membership, use our ?Join MD? section which allows you to send in your application, as it is customized so that the process is handled as speedily as possible, our Recruitment & Training Department will review your application. We require only that you meet the requirements outlined in our Bylaws. But for the most part, if you have a heart devoted to our cause, a Mercury Dragon you may become.

Benefits

Once you are a member of this clan, you are entitled to all the rights and privileges of membership, including access to our private forums. Additional privileges include participation in Official Clan Hunting Trips, Clan Parties, Contests, debates to voice opinions and ideas at meetings, and the extension of the aid, protection, and resources of all the other members of this clan. For more information, feel free to peruse the Charter and the Bylaws.

Duties

In return for being a member of this Clan, and all the benefits it brings, a member is expected to follow orders, adhere to, even uphold, our Bylaws and Charter. This entails mainly aiding and helping other Mercury Dragons as well as innocents who might be in trouble, attending meetings and contributing to the organization as a whole by submitting ideas and giving time to help out, helping to spread knowledge and information, and the advancement of roleplaying in Atlantean Server. We strive to make this world a better place however we might, and have a fun time doing it (through roleplaying and social interaction). If a threat arises (be it from Omni-Tek or any other source), in any form, we expect our members to do their best to undo the plans and actions the enemy has taken with the least amount of collateral damage as possible.

Policies

The Mercury Dragons are, as stated, dedicated to bringing peace to Rubi-Ka by dispatching whatever threats might arise against the Freedom of its clan citizens. Our policies towards method of implementation are quite clear. If a person can appeal to the Command Staff and prove that he/she intended the best, then an exception may be made.

There are a few exceptions, one of which is your word of honor. If a Mercury Dragon gives his/her word of honor, then it is to be as binding as any contract. The punishment for breaking one's word is up to the decision of the Command Staff, but can be very severe.

We're looking forward to return to our former glory as a clan, and once again roleplay and shape the storyline with the roleplaying community to bring it to life like before.

Once we're fairly organized we intend to apply for membership to join EG. As a former EGer I can't wait to rejoin the alliance, good people, great roleplayers.

first of all, congratulations to the re-emergance of the Mercury Dragons. I think everyone agrees that the MD are as much an integral part of life in Rubi Ka as is Storm or, for all that it matters, Cerberus

Agressive? perhaps. But I wanted to let Cerberus know what we were and are, some younger members in clans are not aware of our history.

Yeah, I don't think advertising recruitment here on general chat causes any problems. We do get a lot of guests pass through, if they don't find Cerberus to their fancy, then there is info regarding MD here. Is a public forum for passers by also and Winguaerd lived with us for a while until he got MD back on its feet again. From a personal point of view, I'm more than happy he posts his info here
