few days ago i was playing vernfixer my little pvp tweaky ga fix anyway i was totaly stoked that tr and wildmind helped me upload and wear ga2 at lvl 63.... after standing in tir arena and having enf's beat the crap out of me i decided to head to omni enf and gank the first omni in my lvl rang..
run run run click grid run run run zone into the arena.... on arrivale i noticed a fight taking place with 2 guys my lvl rang "easy picking" i thought .. the one (i didn;t knotic prof) fell to his death and the fixer that killed him run for the west zone i crossed the line and open'd attack ... the fixer stopped and return'd fire at me needless to say 4 seconds later his remains were presented to me at my feet... so i open them up and there stairing me in my greedy little eye's was a fresh clanalizer some ciols of health ql 30 and a newly made nano crystal sumon grid armor mk 1... all this stuff soon made it's way in to my inv and before you could say 6 seconds i was on the grid and heading to the nearest save point..

anyways after about 3-4 mins i get a msg saying something like this
ogh you looted my grid armor
me: yea
fix: it;s my fault i should have scaned shit
fix:ogh well you won fair and square
fix: i don;t supose your nice enough to give it back
me : nope and nope

now ask your selfs what would you do ??

LOL... hmmm.... looting in pvp is in the rules. He was Omni.

I will let your conscience decide that. It's down to the individual. Cant say what I would do cos it'll sway your decision... plus Id have to be in the situation to decide for myself.

Yeah... tbh, its only GA1.... keep it. In fact, get back there and find someone with GA4 for Jasper

Had the character been a member of Cerbs, I would have said give it back... but since he's outside our jurisdiction, I'll agree with Jp and leave it up to your conscience

Personally speaking, given the same situation, I would prolly have gloated a lot but given it back at the end of the day... thinking about it from the other side, if it had happened to me, I would be annoyed as hell at myself for not saving and losing such an item... and praying that the other guy would be good enough to return it to me

I agree with u all on this. However before I PVP I empty my inventory of everything but heals and nodrop bracers. I then save so I don't lose SK and after buffing I am ready.

If you intend on PVP to the death then expect your corpse to be picked clean.

With regard to the nano. As I couldn't use it I wouldn't take it. If I had better I wouldn't take it. I wouldn't take it to sell it either. I would only take it if it would benefit me - the spoils of war. I see this as a fair way of playing PVP.

That said the rules are there and if you don't protect yourself before going in it is like not healing during the session. You're gonna lose eventually

Oh and BTW, if anyone does loot a GA4 during PVP, u will get top market price for it if u let me have it. :mrgreen:

I would have given it back, but only if the guy was acting polite and as nice as could be expected under the circumstances... it's not like a GA1 will make you filthy rich or anything. So I think maybe the earned respect of the enemy for yourself (and possibly Cerberus) is worth more than the sum of credits you could sell the crystal for. Had it been a GA4 I would have kept for Jasper, hehe
