Vol I dont know if this will help transfering data but... Western digital has a small file that will transfer a complete partition onto another hard drive or I saw one similar on PC world. com just a suggestion

I dunno if that last post made it through but what Kind of ram do you need I have drawers full of old obsolete ram, dunno if your from the US so It might be hard to get but lemmee know 
Oh yeah and If its anything less than PC100 ram (which is fully compatible with 133 and still available in any comp store) work on gettin a new comp
