It seems my Phone company has done it again... I have no connection to internet from home

Hope to get back up during this week.. Phone companies aren't well known for ehum...speed...

Arrg!!!!

Ok, my Adsl-modem has gone kaputt and my ISP has decided I need to send it to Kuala Lumpur for a health check wich would mean I will be out of connection for the next five weeks since they can't deliver a modem to me for use while mine is gone. This has caused havoc and I have decided to disconnect Telia completely. I am as I write this on the phone ordering a new connection from another isp. This time hopefully one that can take care of its customers a bit better. While doing this I go from 512Kb/s to 2,5Mbit/s wich feels quite nice.

However, I will be offline for atleast a week until Telia has decided to disconnect their piece-o-crap equipment and Bostream can connect their new shiny megastuff on my phonecables.

I have a modem on my porta-puter, and I have installed AO ( ), but I wont be able to play very much...

Really Sorry to hear that Felicity I know how frustrating it can be dealing with ISP's and Phone companies. Hope you are back on soon and wish you the best.

Akk.. inte bra. I have been recently having trouble with my ISP too, which has caused me to temporarily sign up with another. I may actually stick with this new one, as they seem to have better ping times, and therefore better gaming

Well, My connection to the interenet is cable. Through Comcast who had a partnership with @Home who went bankrupt i was out of Cable modem service for 4 days!! I know how you feel.. just more frustrating then annyoing really.. Well wish u best of luck. and come back with a BANG =)

oh just to let you know... My other computer went Kaput... I need to get a powersupply for it.. till them i am on my backup computer.. It's slow and i can't play or "act" as quickly with it cause it lags.. so i will temporarly be around for support.. more then help.. i can't do much..but i can try.. It jsut feels soo defferent going to a differnet computer...
