Third Floor IS Raid

Postby Sinnlife » Sat Jun 19, 2004 1:16 pm

hehe I'm odd.

Seriously though, I'd like to organize a joint 3rd Floor IS Raid between FL and Cerb. We, both of our orgs, should really be doing more as we're both lots of fun and really cool people.

Personally, I think Cerb is cooler but I'm biased. ;)

If you look here you'll see that I've managed to snag a few people already but would obviously need alot more. So... help me maybe?

Hello :)

Your forum link is unfortunately in a private section, but it's a good idea, and I'm sure there would be plenty of Cerbs with keys who'd like to go help shake up the 3rd floor!

Myself for one ;)

Hey Sinn. We shouldnt have any problems whiping the floor with the 3rd floor mobs together. It sounds like a good idea, and would very much like to take part in this, if not for the loot, then for coming along and watch Hezak hit the floor with a big boom, and the foundation shake from the impact. :D

Third Floor IS Raid

Postby Sinnlife » Sun Jun 20, 2004 10:43 pm

I'd like to push it back to abou the 17th or whatever that Saturday is. Porter has shown interest in coming with and this coming saturday is too short of a notice IMO.

hi Cerberus-ers!

I hope we are still on for this raid :)! I know that we in First Light are still planning on it -- and looking forward to it!!

There is kind of a dilemma/conflict now though, and i would like to hear what you guys think, and what you want to do.

*-- Disclaimer --> I am no kind of First Light representative, just a member (but one who is excited about seeing a big Cerberus/First Light raid happen successfully!) and so I don't speak for anyone in my guild except me. That being said, I do try to listen at our meetings, and I don't think I'm wrong when I say that we are pretty excited about doing something with you guys again. --*

the dilemma, tho:

Caid and Submisszero are getting married (!!) on Saturday the 17th at 5pm Eastern US time (which is 9pm GMT i think). So, since i think a lot of people in both of our guilds will be coming to the wedding, this leaves the question of whether we should:

(1) maybe schedule the IS raid for an earlier time on the 17th? or maybe (2) move it back a day to Sunday the 18th?

I have heard that there has maybe been some discussion of this on your member boards already(?) but i am not sure, so i thought i would bring it up in this thread just to make sure. . . .

Caid and Sub, i think, would rather have the raid on Sunday the 18th if that would be possible. I think that would probably work best, too.

Of course there are millions of options --> we could push it back a week if that would work better even. Or even just go ahead without the wedding-attendees (i am one of these, so i am biased against this last option)

one possible suggestion --> What about Sunday the 18th at 5pm eastern / 9pm GMT ?

Sorry for the long post. Anyway, i think that whenever we do it / whatever we do, it will just be fun to do something together!

9 pm GMT on a sunday is a very bad time imo. Thats 23:00 CET, and for those that got a job to attend to the day after, it effectively means that there isnt gonna be a raid for people in that timesone. So at these hours it needs to be either fridays or saturdays. So moving it a week or doing it friady the 16th would be better.

Agreed Sel, Saturdays better for me too... I presume the wedding can't be moved to Sunday? ;)

Anyway, unless I can get a perma key before then, won't be bothered either way lol :D

How do Cerbs feel about:
Friday 16th at 5pm Eastern US / 9pm GMT / 11pm CET

As long as Froots can get her key, eh? ;)

I can do that. As for Froots getting her key. Let me know and I'll help out getting it. Don't need much. One team could do it easily.
