Ill try to tweak down my grafs, it might help alot. I got allmost minimum view distance now, and all settings on low.
Really, i dont want you guys think im bitching about this...i like what ive seen sofar and our city and allies are the best around.
I expected things like this on launch, but still eats me alot to discover i get only a massive headache from the leisure time hobby i´ve had for so many years
Ill be around later tonight, hopefully i get to try that alien attack again with lower graf settings. And now im gonna be prepared better for it
And for Guests on attack, i mean un-invited guest by that...i love to see our allies fighting together...but pisses off to see other omni/clan guilds lurking around to attack in sight. "Were here to help you repell the alien menace" yeah right :/
They just create situation whats awfull for everyone, lots of lag and low fps... and it will create debates of ninja-looting for sure

Nice screenie. And you got a team of 6 this time. And not a bad setup either. The first time we entered there was how many teams all together? 2 or 3? Anyways, from what I understood, there were teams of 4 in them. some teams had healing, others didnt. The way this is randomised is pretty neat, although you might end up with a team that dont stand a chance in hell to fight all the way to the boss. But still, you might get to team with people you normaly dont team all that much with. Overall, I think that is a good thing, even tho sometimes you dont stand a chance of succeeding much aboard the spaceships.

oh, btw. About random teams. The team I was part of on that first day, consisted of 3 fixers and one NT. This means that the teams (so far, unless tweaked in a patch) is totaly random. Dont know if people that are already in team before entering spaceship gets to stay in same team. This would be nice to know, as teaming up before entering the green light might be an idea. Anyone tested this?

Completely OT, sorry :D

However there were loads in there, 18 I think, but time to team was hampered by lag.

I teamed with Mini who bought it around the first bend (Sorry Mini) but for some reason (Twil I think :D) I survived to the second floor but we all died to 4 deep red mobs there.

Totally awesome experience though :D

We will get much further as we get more experienced.

Biggest problem IMHO is the number of high level players outside set the level of the mobs inside. Every mob was green or deep red to me. hopefully when we sort out the attacks so they r guild coordinated, not just jumped on by anyone with a gun in the vicinity, we should be able to get a lot further, and some of the lower level guys can join us in there :D

I thought the aliens inside was made in accordance to the people acctually entereing. How would it be if a guild of lvl30 ish people had a house, got attacked. Then a bunch of lvl200 people turned up and startet to join in. Then the waves would become lvl200. After boss is dead, then the guild being attacked get access to spaceship. Being lvl30 in a lvl 200 mission seems hardly unlikely to me. Thats why I dont think the people outside got much to do with the type of aliens we meet inside, but rather the level of players being allowed to enter.

Nut heyho, just a thought.

The biggest issue i think is over excitment.

You get 5 minutes to accept & run to the beam for the ship - we should take that time to reform teams - we did manage to get 1 good team on the ship before the aliens attacked but it was close - it was partly others who weren't invited who reminded me to re-form (thanks for passing leader Zyn:P).

We should remember to use those 5 mins to re-group on the ground before going up.

only going from experience (and only had one experience of it so far), the mobs were level 190+.

We had guild members from level 100 or even lower outside. The number of high level peeps from other guilds was incredible.

I can only assume that this was a contributing factor to the level of the mobs inside and the level of the guys allowed to enter

Again, not sure but, time will tell on this :D
