London, as latest reports confirm, has been hit by a terror attack today, various explosions within the Underground tube stations, many people hurt.

I'm not sure how many of us reside in central London but just writing, hoping everyone's ok and safe.

Very sad indeed.. :( My friends brother works in London and she was frantic today trying to get hold of him, luckily she did... Sad that other people won't be so lucky :/

It took me 6 hours to contact my friend who lives in central London. Luckily, she is ok and was in work the time the first explosion happened.

It was four blasts in total, three rush hour bombs, coordinated for maximum casualties detonated underground in the subway and then a third, approx 45 minutes later on a bus outside in the street :(

Hopefully we won't see any more incidents from this attack and the emergency services and all invloved in aid can get on with things this evening. Tony Blair has returned from the G8 Summit to oversee progress in London and some for of transport system is back in place for people trapped in central London or wishing to travel urgently. My heart goes out to everyone involved and their loved ones :( Very sad day :(

Damn  We talked about this brielfly on guild chat last night but at that time the news was reporting the cause was unknown but they thought due to a power surge. So bad. :(

Yea :( I think just about everyone was thinking along the lines of the surge until the bus exploded in the street. It took a while to realise it was a terrorist threat :(

Even now, they still can't work out whether the packages were planted or the bombings were carried out by suicide bombers.

Anyways, the end of a miserable, shocking day and I'm goin to bed.
