Hmm, you may be right, Bigs. Often diamonds ARE a woman's best friend.

In the absence of diamonds, do you suppose rubies would be okay? Or does that just come across as being cheap...?

In their unpolished form, a ruby might look cheap, but who knows what wonders lie hidden....a ruby lovingly cared for, by a skilled engineer, prohaps, should rival even the lovliest sparkle from the female eye.
