What is the downtime for?
The downtime today is for the 16.2.6 client update, the following changes are being made in the update:
Sector 42 Encounter
- New Alien Sector Open – Unicorn forces have opened up Sector 42 for all security cleared citizens to enter. Those wishing to enter should visit the Unicorn representative at the sector gate. Release article can be found here
Political and Military Changes on Rubi-Ka
- Omni-Tek Security forces have moved into Borealis. Clan citizens should be aware they risk attack anywhere within the city limits now. (Read More)
o NOTE: Clan characters saved in Borealis have been moved to a safe location
o There are new recruiters in and around Borealis who new players can use to join both Omni-Tek or the clans
- Vanguard forces have extended their protective patrols to include West Athen as well as the city itself. (Read More)
- The Unionist Clan has seized control of the 4 Holes mining outpost. Omni-Tek employees should be warned that they will be attacked on sight (Read More)
- Miiir have opened a new branch in Newland City
When is the downtime?
The downtime will start at 1300 CEST (find out when that is in your timezone here) and is scheduled to last approximately three hours
Be aware that this changes normal routes through Borealis to Ofoz, until FC move him, which they may do in the extended hour downtime announced today. I think that they forgot that Fixers and Everyone needsto be able to chat to him to be given the quests for the Bazzit Alien Library and Fixer Grid.
It may be a good time to stake a spot in 4 Holes tho as this is new open territory for us
