I have just received a letter from my parents on Earth. They have been following the news of all the troubles here on Rubi-Ka and have decided to visit before the planet "blows itself up".

This will be the first time I have seen them since coming to Rubi-Ka, so I am a little anxious. They certainly did not approve of my coming here, so I do not know how they will view my lifestyle.

Even so, while they are visiting I will attempt to make the best of it.

Really? Hmm, shows how much I know of the history :razz:

I read the timeline which goes up to the year 28,982 and they didn't mention anything about Earth being destroyed. And what's the year now? 29,475?

Hejiro, this is great news. I am sure you are referring to "New Earth", to where most were relocated. If there is anything the guild can do to make your parents stay more enjoyable, please do not hesitate to call upon us. I will try to organize a feast in their honor, and, of course, upon their arrival, we will supply the honorary guard.
