New Doc hoping to join the ranks...

I am a new player to the game (under 2 months) and have been scouting a good org to join. After reading the forums and seeing that the site is active, I joined up yesterday to the forum. I am hoping that I will get an invite soon into the guild. Not knowing how long it takes to get an invite using the application form on the website, I decided to put in my request here.

I come from DAoC, where I maxxed out my character as far as I could. Not wanting to get bored, I moved on to AO (which I beta tested for before release). I was a guild leader of The Dark Hand in DAoC and had many good members that turned into RL friends. I am hoping to establish the same kind of friendships in AO.

I am an active player / member in the guild system and believe that only in an org can you get the full team expierence that a MMORPG has to offer. I role-play almost constantly in game and also know how to take it easy in org channels.

I look forward to meeting you all in game if I'm chosen to join your ranks.

Well, as you've prolly already read, we've recently merged and become a sizeable guild of close friends. The three guilds who merged to form Cerberus (RKFF, Excalibur and Rollerats) were already members of the Endgame Alliance of guilds so we already knew each other to a certain extent. Anyway, I won't bore you with a history lesson after only just meeting you. No doubt you'll hear from on of our lovely advisors shortly and I hope to be seeing you on our guildchat very soon ))))

I'm one of the Advisors here in Cerberus... I've just checked for the character name Ospf and it appears you reside in Rimor (RK2) ...? Is that correct, or is my information out of date?

If it's true, I'm afraid we have a problem, since our guild lives on Atlantean (RK1). So if you wanna join up, you'll need to recreate your doc :'(

Anyway, don't let that put you off applying if you still want to (we'd def love more active Docs), create a character and level it up some, then either post back here or send me a tell in game and we'll setup a brief interview/chat with myself and one or more other advisors

Then I'll come over tonight. I want to find a good place to play, I figured that with all the lag that there was during beta I'd better find a less populated server. My only problem is that I recently aquired 10Mil in cash and I now have no way to transfer the money. While this isn't a drastic problem, I would like to find some more cash before I get all setup over there on RK1. We'll see about that...

Hi Ospf, nice to meet you! I play several chars (ranging from 41 to 200) and most of them are in Cerberus.

If you want to start afresh on RK1, there is a chance that somebody can help you transfer the money... although it's a risky operation. You need to post on the official Market Forums and ask if there's anyone willing to trade your RK2 credits for RK1 dosh. I've done this on two occasions with success, but we aware it boils down to a matter of trust.
