Look what I bought!

Well..today I was stocking the shelves...I dunno why...its been slow lately...anyway, I came across something that caught my eye...An Evangelion Collectors edition box set. It included all the episodes, including the two part movie. It also included the basic crap normally found in collectors editions...action figures, jewlry, etc.

Now...Im a hardcore Evangelion fan. I love it...I had a couple episodes already....so naturally I squealed like a teen age school girl after finding out the star football player will go out with her. I bought it on the spot. Normally the boss wont let us buy stuff from the store trill after were closed...but uhhh...i gave him no choice.

Huh? Whats that? How much was it? Uhhh...$256. 50.....what?

BTW....

After Cowboy Bebop, I think Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of better/best anime series I've watched. It's kinda quirky, but has some very engaging character development, plot and animation. I won't forget the massive unloading of military destruction in some of the battle scenes, all set to the Hallelujah Chorus.

Sounds a bit expensive though O_o... how many DVDs is it? 10?

Ok then I'm only 22!

That was the best time I've ever had. Working young man, pocket full of money, cheap living and time to chase women!

Awww. those days... those days...
