Looking for info on hoods

Postby Hyperion » Mon Oct 27, 2003 2:15 pm

Can anyone tell me where to find:

Ceremonial Watchman's Hood

and/or

Pointed hood of Eric Miller

I bet I have to kill some insane NPC, but I'm just curious...

Ket! Dang, are you on-world again? Or you're just teasing us by posting?

I actually have both of these helmets. I believe the Watchman's comes from Inner Sanctum... but, you know, I can't even remember it dropping in all my times there, so I may be wrong.

Eric Miller's Pointed Hood I found on... Eric Miller. He is one of the bosses in a sequential spawn inside the Unredeemed temple in Sheol of the Shadowlands.

Have you seen either of the helmets? The Eric one is basically the same as the Watchman's but has this really odd face covering, and... a cigarette burn in the forehead. >_< Interestingly, Eric himself is wearing one awesome upside-down metal bowl.

Nope, youre completely correct. It's quite a common drop in IS

He he Flame :D

Nope, I'm actually back for good. At least until my semi-nomadic life drags me off-world again :p

Many thanks for the quick reply, fellows. I was thinking if there was anything better than a MK II Hood (as my beloved Muir templars are required to wear cloaks and hoods) and especially the Ceremonial thingy looks really interesting.
I'll have to go look for one as close to 159 (the highest TL4 one) then.

Only thing is how it looks? Like a hood, actually? Or will it make my elegant templar look like a (tall) garden gnome?

See you on Rubi Ka :)

Well this is really great, Ket :D Hope to see you soon.

Actually, the Watchman's Hood... is the one I'm wearing in my sig banner, commonly refered to as the "StarWars helmet". The actual item to look for is a canister of some type which gets popped open and the helmet falls out. The helmet itself is only in one quality, but the owner can level it up to QL160.

Awww, no offense my fiery friend, but it may not really be described as top fashion.
It IS better than a garden gnome, though. I hope to meet you soon and get a better look at it - with some luck, it could be deemed acceptable by the Order.

Hm, perhaps one should go for Watchman and CAS and save the psychology that's needed for MK II...?
Or is there any better (and realistic) alternatives to MK II ?

See you all soon, I hope!

I use the MKII hood both for looks and because it aint all that bad. Got both the watchmans hood and the CDS in my backpack. But the MKII is my prefered choice of wear. Granted you need pretty high psycho to wear it, but it gives some bonus to health that might prove helpful when the big nastys in SL comes down on you (whopping 150 extra hp).
