what is worse.......

...then getting your new comp... assembeling it ... and everything seems to run smooth, but alas, system starts to hang, giving you bluescreens...
so you deside to do the almighty "format c:" ... oki back to scratch...
u modifly a lil here and there... and trys to reinstall your copy of win2k pro
and to your horror!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your new comp gives you bluescreens when
installing .... "#"¤!#%"#¤&#%/%&#/(""¤##%//"&"
u search your sole for your innermost, deepest and darkest curse words..
u scream them out loud ... one of your neighbors is on the verge of getting
a heart attack!!!!!!
So u try 10 more times with the same result...then you do what u know
you never should do .... u call the support .....the conversation ends up
with you telling the guy on the other end what to do and how to do it....
said and done you deside to upgrade the bios to see if that helps, this was
the only "good" advice the support character had to give you.... so you
install the version he said was the proper one....
with the result ----->> A COMPLETELY dead computer !!!!
!¤%#&%&/¤(&/)¤/&"!"¤#!¤"#¤/&/(/()¤#"#¤
so now you need to send the motherboard to them again and wait for like
3-4 weeks to get a new one..............
AARRRRAGQERG#Q#¤"&¤%YHB%#¤&Y¤/U¤&(I#J%""

so this is why i havent been on world for a lil while......needed to share my
misery :(
i'll see you when i see you......

ps.sorry for all the creative cursewords... atleast i censored em......

If the problem still persists when you get your new motherboard I would suggest you try other mems. I've seen many puters with similar problems as the one you describe. All of them had broken memory modules....

aye, that was my first thought aswell Bigs, so i borrowed another set of
mems from a friend... but alas that didnt work either (this was before i
flashed the bios)

Flame, yeah they sure can.... it usualy goes like this:
U'r mind turn into that of a child on xmas eve when you pick up your package.....
then as you are assembling it, the horns starts to grow out.. u utter cursewords you didnt know you had in ya...
then voilá everything works nice and dandy and your horns grow back in again

hehe :P

Aye... don't you go lettin modern technology ruin your time in Rubi-Ka. Cogs goes out muggin old ladies, we all do different things.

Personally I play ao even without the PC. Just an old garden boom with one of my son's toy guns strapped to the bottom and hey presto... a Longshot. Bit of pink wrapping paper from christmas presents and sticky tape and w00000t, I've just upgraded to Tier 1 Armour !!!!!!
You can make your own mission terminal with an old carboard box from the supermarket and you dont need clicksaver os you can invent your own mission reward... hurray !!!!!!

See? It's all good. Get the PC fixed but in the meantime, you can have fun with the thought that home made MA attacks don't have to be nodrop so you can dress up as an alt, go get the goodies and transfer them to yourself any time you like.

See? Peggy loves j00000

Don't dis Jp for his imagination. I liked his story.

Just think: no lag (except, I suppose, with our old arthritic limbs), no downtime for patches (except, I suppose, when you try to gain XP from the Dog Monsters and have to bandage bites in your hand).

Unlike Rubi-Ka, though, when you're playing offline, death may be permanent. Just a heads-up.

When it comes to lag and downtime for patching. I get that a lot on saturday and sunday mornings after being out on the town the night before.

As to rubberbanding, it sure seems like it's that way when I'm about to get up in the morning and I have to try 3-4 times to get my ass out of bed.
