Adonis -> Penumbra

Postby rahmorak » Sun Nov 09, 2003 3:05 am

OK, after more than 3 weeks in Adonis I have got nowhere, I am no nearer getting into Penumbra, and still not found any spec 3. Freuty is in the same position and it is extremely depressing and frustrating... so...

How many people in Cerberus are in Adonis? We need to try and get some teams together because trying to progress this solo or with just me and Freuty is impossible.

If there are a few of us then we can set-up up some quest progression nights and take it one bit at a time, even if it is just small steps at least it is moving forward.

I can get into Adonis and would be glad to help out if I can with getting into Penumbra. I was very lucky once with the unredeemed temple in Scheol where a copy of the 2nd edition dropped.

If I am playing as Chefkeeper send me a tell and I'll break off what I am doing unless I am in a team which is not likely anyway.

I am in Penumbra, as is Wirecutter (and I think Nusse finished his glasses). I cannot promise anything for tonight, but would like to assist you in getting further. If you have some spare time, you should do the easy parts, i.e. get your Rubbery Resin by killing Enigma Trees and Roots in Enigma Forest. Also, go to Zoftig in Hope, buy Latex base, take to the atrox woman in reets(with the hideously green gloves) and have your Latex mask made.
Would be better for me during the week to help, lets see what we can do.

Great Chef, hopefully we can all help each other get into Penum. :)

Thanks Cogs! :) Hopefully we can get enough of us that we only need to call on you if we are desperate, I don't really want to put you through that camping hell if I can avoid it. 8)

P.S. Thanks to Razaphysics I now have one part of spec 3. :)

I'm also saved up in Penumbra so I've got the access. Will help out if I'm online and not teaming up myself.

Haven't been online for the last few days so I know nothing of how the patch has affected things yet though.

Thanks nusse... unfortunately the patch has made bugger all difference so far as I can gather.

Mind you, F and I have 8 Dalja patterns so we need to spawn those sometime, get our gimpy 6-7k faction up a bit. :)

Where do those patterns drop and can I help you kill them if it doesn't dilute the faction increase too much?

I would like to come and help with Odfarkness, just as soon as he's high enough lvl. Which means I won't be able for at least a few days, unfortunately - TL4 sounds too low, right?

Chef

I think the patterns drop of most mobs Chef, although different patterns drop of different MObs (i.e. Unredeemed Dalja from unredeemed MOBs)

As to joining us for the kill, for sure Chef.. it will take quite a few of us to kill anyway. I think Cogs/Nusse/Wire have a better idea of how we need to tackle them though as I think they have killed Dalja a few times.

Smac... yeah I am afraid TL4 is a bit low... I wouldn't really advise trying before you are into TL5. Also, the priority at the moment is to get the high TL6/200s into Penum so they can see some non-greys and start getting faction/sk.

As such if you don't mind just being along for the ride then it would be great to have you along. :)

No worries, I think I need to concentrate more on lvl, Tier1 parts, and Ocra Sanctuary anyway - I sure don't want to 'dilute' a high lvl team by taking up a tourist slot ;)

I would advise you to pretty much stay clear of adonis until 175-180ish.
All those green stuff aggroing can be a right pain in the ass. Might be better for a calmerclass as yourself, but for me its not worth going to adonis atm. I have the key to gilthar, but the sneaking was nervewrecking.

Ofdarkness and me will be in Adonis soon, too...

I would be glad to catch up with some of you in Adonis to make it to Penumbra in time :)
