Best Game Ever

Place to hang out and talk about anything.

Doom? what doom? never really took to it. As to Quake, it's really covered in Duke Nukem when there's a quake and he says 'I'm not afraid of no Quake' :) Pretty late on in the levels, but very funny.

Duke Nukem almost received an honorable mention in my top 5 becuase we had so much bloody fun playing that game in a lan when it came out. One of the reasons I loved it was becuase it stealed a lot of one-liners from my all time favorite movies the Evil Dead triology. But in the end it didn't make my top 5 because RPG's are better than shooters :) just a fact of life really.

Got the news that BIS is being closed today. No more uber RPG's - no more Fallout, no more Baldur's Gate.

Interplay is focusing only on consoles from now on and not interested in staying in the PC market.

And they were targeting Fallout 3 for a christmas 2004 release, now it'll never see the life of day.

On some days, life does suck.

Well.... I'd like to know what's happenin with Duke Nukem Forever. Last time I heard, it was near completion then they changed the entire graphics engine and it's been underway for the last few years already. Will this ever see the light of day?

That's probably even an underestimate...

Well, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic arrived in my local games store yesterday and I quickly snapped up a copy. I, uh, think my AO time this week or so will almost vanish. I loved Neverwinter Nights and this is like NWN on steroids. Really amazing.
